Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what BotMother ("we", "us") collects, why, and what happens to it when you use @BotMamamBot, botmamam.com, dashboard.botmamam.com, or a bot hosted on our platform (together, the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Two kinds of people use the Service: Creators, who use BotMother to build, connect, or run bots, and End Users, who talk to a Creator's bot. The rules differ for each, so Part 1 is for Creators, Part 2 is for End Users, and Part 3 applies to everyone.
In short
- This policy applies to every bot hosted on BotMother, including bots built before it was published.
- If you build bots with us, we keep your Telegram account details, what you send the bot, the code we generate for you, and Telegram's records of your payments. We never see card or bank details.
- Every bot on the platform is operated by an independent Creator. The Creator, not BotMother, is responsible for the data their bot collects. We only host it on their behalf.
- Our servers are in the European Union. Bot-building requests and messages sent to AI features are processed by third-party AI providers, which may be in other countries.
- We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
- Deleting a bot deletes its data. We are not a backup service.
This summary is for convenience only. The full English text below is what applies.
1.Part 1. Creators: what we collect
- Telegram account details: your Telegram user ID, username, first and last name, language, and whether you have Telegram Premium, provided by Telegram when you use the bot or sign in to the dashboard.
- What you send the bot: your bot descriptions, edit requests, feedback, and other messages to @BotMamamBot; the bot tokens you connect (stored encrypted); and the code, settings, and files generated for your bots.
- Payments: the records Telegram gives us about your Stars purchases, namely the plan or item, the amount, the date, and Telegram's payment identifiers. We never receive card, bank, or wallet details. Telegram handles the payment.
- Usage and technical data: which features you use, plan and limit events, error reports, timestamps, and server logs.
- Dashboard session: a cookie that keeps you signed in to the dashboard.
2.Part 1. Creators: why we use it
To build, run, and host your bots; to bill you and apply your plan's limits; to send you service messages (build results, warnings, limit notices, weekly summaries where enabled, and announcements about the Service); to keep the Service secure and detect abuse; to provide support; and to improve the Service.
Where the law requires a legal basis, ours are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the Service, and, for optional messages, your consent. You can switch off the weekly summary in the bot's Settings.
3.Part 1. Creators: AI processing
To build and edit bots, your requests and your bot's code are sent to third-party AI model providers, whose servers may be located in other countries. They process this data to generate the result. Do not put passwords, secrets, or other people's personal data in your requests.
4.Part 2. End Users: the Creator is responsible for the bot
Every bot on our platform is created and operated by an independent Creator. The Creator decides what the bot does and what it collects. For the data a bot collects, the Creator is the controller, and we only host it on the Creator's behalf as their processor. We act on the Creator's instructions and do not use this data for our own purposes.
Questions about a bot, and requests to see or delete what it holds about you, should go to the bot's Creator. Your relationship regarding that data is with the Creator, not with us, and we are not responsible for how a Creator collects, uses, or protects it.
5.Part 2. End Users: what our platform stores about you
When you use a bot hosted with us, our platform records, for the Creator's use: your Telegram user ID, name, username, language, and Premium status; when you first and last used the bot; how many messages you sent; and the messages you exchange with the bot, so that the Creator can read and reply to them from their dashboard. The bot itself may store more, as designed by its Creator, in its own database on our servers. All of this is stored on our servers in the European Union, which may be outside your country. If the Creator transfers the bot to another BotMother user, the data the bot holds about you moves to the new Creator, who becomes responsible for it.
6.Part 2. End Users: AI features in bots
If a bot uses AI features, the messages you send to it may be processed by a third-party AI model provider to generate the reply.
7.Part 3. Who we share data with
- Telegram, for messaging and payments.
- The new Creator of a bot, when its Creator transfers it to another user (see the Terms of Service).
- AI model providers, as described in Parts 1 and 2.
- Our hosting provider. Our servers are located in the European Union.
- Authorities and others, where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, or necessary to protect the Service, our users, or others, or to enforce our Terms.
- A successor operator, if BotMother is sold or transferred. Your data then moves with the Service to the new operator under this policy.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Data is processed in the European Union and in the countries where Telegram and our AI providers operate, which may be outside your own; by using the Service you accept this. Some countries require personal data of their citizens to be stored only inside the country. Creators are responsible for complying with such laws for the data their bots collect, and must not collect data through a bot that may not lawfully be stored in the European Union. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Creators, Telegram, AI providers, or any other third party.
8.Part 3. How long we keep it
- Creator account data: for as long as your account exists, and afterwards only as long as the law requires, for example for payment records. You can ask us to delete your account.
- Bot data: for as long as the bot exists. When a bot is deleted, by its Creator or by us, its database and files are deleted from our systems. Copies may persist for a limited time in backups and logs.
- Logs and error reports: for a limited period needed to operate and secure the Service.
We may delete data earlier, including when a bot is suspended, inactive, or removed for breaching our Terms. We are not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you need.
9.Part 3. Security
We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted bot tokens, isolated sandboxes for each bot, access controls, and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any data, in particular data collected by Creator bots.
10.Part 3. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority.
Creators can exercise these rights by messaging us (see Contact); deleting a bot from the bot's menu deletes its data. End Users should contact the bot's Creator first. If you cannot reach them, contact us and we will help where we can.
11.Part 3. Children
The Service is for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect data from children through our own account system. Creators are responsible for how their bots treat minors.
12.Part 3. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy by posting the new version at botmamam.com/privacy and changing the date at the top.
